Bubbles In The Wine

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY want a SHAG/Josh Agle print.  I love them so much.  They're wonderful.  Ahhhh, why must art be so pricey, my wallet so empty, jobs so hard to come by, and my wall space so limited...

The End

So...life is sucking at a rapidly increasing rate as of late.  Let me take this moment to recognize the deaths of two things near and dear to my heart.

Honestly, a life without CosmoGirl! and Mother's Cookies (particularly the Circus Animal cookies) is no life at all.  Now I'm stuck reading Seventeen and eating Animal Crackers, both of which are good but come in second on my list.  I am also stuck shopping at Amoeba and Virgin, which are both good stores (Amoeba is way better than Virgin could ever dream of being) because of the death of Tower.  I still miss Tower =[  And Skateland!  The indoor roller skating rink that used to be by my house!  I haven't even found a substitute for that yet, and it's been gone for two years.  Gosh.  Everything I love disappears.  Let's have a moment of silence for all of these things, gone but not forgotten.

If you hadn't already noticed, I get very sentimental easily.  So sue me.

That's The Way (Uh-Huh, Uh-Huh) I Like It (Uh-Huh, Uh-Huh)!

Life has been goooood!  I'm finally getting better after being sick for like a month, so that's exciting.  I also went to see the Van Halen tribute show, and this is what came of it:
So that's fun.  Michael Anthony was suuuuper cool and really nice!

Oh.  And I'm pissed.  Mother's Cookies went bankrupt.  No more Circus Animal cookies for Amy =[  Poop.  Actually we stocked up on cookies, we bought like $60 worth hahahaha.  We've gotta make them last a loooong time =/

Ahh and today I went to Amoeba!  Yay!  I love that place.  They always have super cool stuff.  I got Shock Treatment, the "sequel" to Rocky Horror.  I've never seen it but it looks good.  I also got Lake Placid, because Betty White is freaking Awesome.  I got a press kit for Walk Hard for $1 from the clearance bin.  It's actually pretty cool!  It has a bunch of pictures, the trailer, info about the movie, and four songs including two that weren't on the soundtrack.  All downloadable onto my computer!  So exciting.  Then I found an LP for $2 by a band called Gentlemen After Dark.  It was filed under Alice Cooper because apparently he was one of the producers.  I have to check it out, it might be good it might not haha.  And finally, I found a copy of Alice Cooper's album Killer on vinyl.  $18 for a used record is a bit steep, but it's so cool!  It's got the detachable 1972 calendar still attached!  Super awesome.  And I guess it's one of the original pressings because there was a note with it about it being on the Blvd. label?  I'm not really good with details about old albums and their rarity.  But it seems exciting, haha.

All-in-all, life has been pretty good.  Except for the cookie debacle =/  SCREW YOU, ECONOMY!

The Adventures Of Greggery Peccary

Long time, no see, non-existent readers!  I can't say that I've been terribly busy, but life has been giving me plenty of things to do.  I played two tribute to Black Sabbath shows, and Steve-O from Jackass came to one!  It was so awesome!  I also went to my best friend, Maggie's, 17th birthday party.  It was amazing!  She had a whole backdrop set up and a professional photographer and we all just brought tons of changes of clothes and had a huge photoshoot.  I can't wait to see the pictures!  What else?  Hmm...I've recorded a few makeup tutorial videos to upload to YouTube but I have yet to edit or upload them.  I've got some more MAC makeup, it's pretty exciting =]

This weekend I'm going to see a tribute to Van Halen show, which Michael Anthony (Van Halen's former bassist) will be attending.  Speaking of bass, I'm learning to play that too now.  I can almost play Ballroom Blitz, yay!  And I've now started rehearsals for my next couple of shows, which will be a tribute to David Bowie and will be in late January.  I got TiVo in my room!  Now I can feed my 90201 habit at any hour of the day.  Yes, sad but true, I'm addicted to that darn show.

This blog is very scattered.  Then again, so am I.  Right now I'm just laying on my bed listening to Frank Zappa and trying to decide what to do with myself.  I'm slightly tired but I don't quite feel like sleeping.  I could watch something off of TiVo but I don't quite feel like that too.  I'm just a bit restless and generally unsettled.  That is due to the fact that I'm sick.  I've been sick on and off for couple of weeks now, and it's not much fun.  It started as some type of stomach unsettlement, went away for a few days, came back as a feverish type of cold, went away for a few more days, and now is back as a cold with a nasty dry, sore, hoarse throat full of mucus.  So that's fun.  And this mucus-y feeling seems to be what is preventing me from sleeping.  Why am I rambling on about this?  I have no idea.  I think I'll go watch TV.
